Privacy Policy
Effective 2 September 2026 · Operated by The 5_0 Collective LLC
Identify As A 5.0 is a pickleball gear-review channel operated by The 5_0 Collective LLC. This policy explains what we collect on this website, what data our own internal analytics tools access from the social platforms we publish on, and what we do and do not do with any of it.
1. This website
identifyasa50.net is a static page. It has no forms, no accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking scripts, and no cookies set by us. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information through this site.
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and requested page) for security and operational purposes. Those logs are held by Netlify under their own privacy practices; we do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us at the address on our contact section, we receive whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply.
2. Our internal analytics tools
We run private, internal tools that read performance data for our own social media accounts only — how our own videos performed, so we can make better ones. These tools are not public, are not offered to anyone else, and have no users other than us.
Google and YouTube
We use the YouTube Data API Service and the YouTube Analytics API to read data about our own YouTube channel. Specifically we request read-only access:
youtube.readonly— our channel's own video list and metadatayt-analytics.readonly— our channel's own aggregate performance metrics- Where we publish videos through the API, we additionally request
youtube.upload, which is used only to upload our own videos to our own channel
This data covers our own channel's aggregate performance — views, watch time, subscriber counts, traffic sources, and country-level and device-level breakdowns provided by YouTube. It does not identify individual viewers, and we neither receive nor seek any individual viewer's personal information.
By using our tools with YouTube data we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can review or revoke this application's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Meta — Instagram and Facebook
We use the Instagram Graph API and Facebook Graph API to read insights for our own Instagram business account and Facebook Page, and to publish our own content to them. We access aggregate account and post-level metrics only. We do not access follower lists, direct messages, or any individual person's profile data.
TikTok
We use the TikTok API to read our own account's video list and aggregate statistics, and to publish our own videos. We do not access other users' data.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to anyone, ever.
- We do not transfer platform data to third parties, except where required by law.
- We do not use platform data for advertising, ad targeting, or building profiles of individuals.
- We do not use platform data to train machine learning or AI models.
- We do not access data belonging to accounts other than our own.
4. Storage, retention and deletion
Performance data pulled from these APIs is stored locally on company-controlled devices and used solely to produce our own internal reports. Access credentials are stored locally and are not shared. We retain performance data only as long as it is useful for content planning, and delete it when it no longer is.
To request deletion of anything we hold that relates to you, email us at the address below and we will action it.
5. Affiliate relationships and gifted products
Paddle manufacturers send us products to review. In some cases they provide a discount code that earns us a commission if a viewer purchases using it. We disclose both of these clearly at the start of the relevant post. Using a code is entirely optional and costs you nothing extra; the retailer, not us, handles your purchase and your payment information. We never receive your payment details.
6. Children
This site and our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update it on this page and revise the effective date above.
